Duplex Heat Exchangers

• Two identical shell and tube heat exchangers mounted on a common framework, one acting as a standby while the other is in operation.

• Employed with continuously acting units such as turbines, processing units and power generation units.

• When the performance of the operating unit deteriorates due to fouling or it has some maintenance problem, this unit is taken out of service after switching to the standby unit.

• The unit can be supplied with changeover valve and isolation valves complete with piping.
